If you can grab the wheel of your mind, you can steer the direction of where your life will go
By grounding us deeply in both nature and the healing, strengthening breath, the Wim Hof Method (WHM) re-establishes harmony between mind and body, and unlocks the deep intelligence inherent within all of us. Founder Wim Hof has employed the method while conquering challenges in some of the world’s most severe environments – from climbing Everest to doing a half marathon north of the Arctic Circle, in winter, wearing only shorts! – and its effectiveness has been proven in numerous tests under rigorous scientific conditions.
Cat Paterson is a Level 1 Wim Hof Method (WHM) Instructor, with additional specialties as an Advanced Rapid Transformational Therapist (RTT) and Clinical Hypnotherapist. She also teaches mindfulness and breath work. Cat used the Wim Hof Method to conquer her own severe and chronic illness, in the process overcoming her fear of (and aversion to) the cold and curing her Raynauds. Having previously regarded the cold as a foe, she now welcomes it as a friend and as a great teacher. She has employed the WHM breathing techniques with RTT clients suffering from trauma, anxiety and depression, as a way of calming the mind and entering into body awareness.
Cat has organised retreats both in the UK and Majorca focusing on breath, mindfulness and cold exposure, combined with meditation, healing and shamanic teachings. She believes that the Wim Hof Method offers a simple and highly effective way of grounding you in the present moment, regardless of your mental state, in order to unleash your innate power and awaken your ability to meet the challenges and opportunities that life presents you with.
