With over twenty years nursing experience, Christina's professional career has always been based in breath work (although unintentional). Her career began in Labor and Delivery helping mothers use their breath as a tool during childbirth. As a Neo Natal Intensive Care Nurse, Tina helped premature babies with underdeveloped lungs learn to breath on their own. Her next focus was with ventilator dependent quadriplegics where her priority was to insure that her patients were taking each important breath. Christina’s calling and passion has been found in hospice and end of life care. She has for the last sixteen years had the honor to help people take their last breath in beauty, with comfort and dignity, a gift that reminds her daily how important it is to live your life now. Every breath is precious and Christina shares Wim's mission in helping people take control of their health and their lives. Everyone deserves to be Happy, Strong and Healthy.
On a "whim" after trying only 1 round of the WHM breath work and hours scrutinizing the scientific data, Christina booked a trip to Spain where she spent a week learning under the direct guidance of Wim Hof. There she met an amazing tribe of open hearted souls looking to heal themselves and others. This was in a time where Christina was questioning her own place in this world; who was she without her labels, without external validation and why was sitting quietly with herself so uncomfortable. The quest to find the depths of her soul is what led her to this method, a place where her "hippie brain" and "nurse brain" could agree and surrender into healing.
Now, in addition to continuing her working in hospice, a mother to three grown children, Christina is a Yoga Teacher, an avid Crossfiter, a Self-Care Coach and Wim Hof Method Instructor. Join her in a workshop where she will guide you with the love of a mother, the energy of a hippie, the strength of an athlete and the scientific back up of a medical professional. It’s time to start living in beauty, with comfort and dignity.
