Hi my name is Dearbhla and I have been an advocate of the Wim Hoff method for several years now. After attending The Poland Winter Expedition in 2023 and seeing the profound effects it had on my physical and mental health I knew I wanted to become an instructor and share this wonderful method with others. The expedition was led by Wim himself and during the week I sat in countless ice baths, experienced life changing breathing sessions and hiked up mount Sněžka in Poland in just shorts and a bikini. Needless to say this was an experience I will never forget.
I have also trained with Leandre Omeir, or as Wim calls him - The Iceboy at the Wim Hoff centre in the French alps. Learning from an experienced instructor like Leandre helped me deepen my knowledge and skills with every practice.
The Wim Hoff method has changed my life in so many ways. I first started practising the method after I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in my hands at the age of 25. This was very disheartening for be but after practising the method and applying all three pillars to my everyday life, the pain in my hands is practically gone altogether.
The method has also helped me through so many hard times in life and overcome deeply rooted traumas.
