John Podlasek
Level 2
Training Specialty:
WHM Fundamentals, Corporate Leadership, Team Building, Organizational Efficiency
Wrocław, Poland
Instructor Level
Originally I grew up in the United States where my family owns and operates a small manufacturing company. Feeling out of place, I decided to change direction personally and professionally and enrolled into a PHD program in Wroclaw Poland. So in 2000 sold everything I owned, and moved to Poland.
For the first three years in Poland, I mainly worked as a consultant for Lean Manufacturing training various company employees, on how to become more efficient operating CNC equipment. In 2006, I took a job as a plant Director for a Swedish plastic injection molding company. Then after 11 years I decided to go back to consulting. Which I have been doing since then.
Now I am in the process of opening an Ice bath center in Wroclaw, as well as developing our property in the Woods as place for people to come and experience a profound connection with nature and teaching the Wim Hof Method thru Level 1 Fundamentals Training. My goal is to eventually reach Level 3 trainers status.
What brought me to the Wim Hof method was more of a few experiences than one. As a hockey player, I always loved the cold season. A life changing event, in which I had a near death experience, motivated me to seek a deeper understanding of my place in this world and this eventually led me to Wim’s story. Wim's story resonated with me, and I decided to investigate his method more intensely. I went to a week long camp with one of his associates in the Polish mountains, and learned much much more than I could have ever imagined. After this camp I decided to pursue a career as an instructor of the Wim Hof method. As of today I am a Level 1 Instructor and hope to continue to grow and spread Wim’s message of “All the Love, all the Power” and to Follow the Light in all of us.
