My journey to find comfort in uncomfortable situations began shortly before high school when I discovered the physical and mental challenges of wrestling. Throughout my time as a wrestler, I became obsessed with exploring what my body and mind could achieve and pushed myself to the limits in grueling practices and matches. Through this experience, I learned that if I surrendered to the process, my body would keep going long after my mind thought it wanted to quit.
After retiring from college wrestling, I still craved the thrill of pushing my limits, so I joined the United States Marine Corps. My dedication and determination earned me the distinction of Platoon Honor Graduate in Bootcamp and Company Honor Graduate in the School of Infantry. After being honorably discharged as a Sergeant, I continued to seek new challenges and ways to grow physically and mentally.
That's when I discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art focused on grappling and ground fighting. Under the guidance of the legendary Jean Jacques Machado, I trained tirelessly and eventually earned my Black Belt. While optimizing my body for competition and everyday life, I stumbled upon the Wim Hof Method, a unique combination of breathing techniques and cold water immersion practices that promised to improve overall health and well-being. I was amazed by the positive effects it had on my mind and body.
Years later, I am still a dedicated practitioner of the Wim Hof Method and have also begun to explore the world of meditation and spiritual growth. I am passionate about sharing what I have learned with others and strive to inspire and guide others on their journeys of self-discovery.
