The Wim Hof Method found me at a dark place in my life. A short break in the emotional clouds caused me to ask... maybe I can change things? After years of keeping tabs on Wim's approach from afar but not ready to commit myself to it, suddenly a daily cold shower regime began! I dragged myself to that shower each morning, resistant but committed to the experiment. I'll never forget the turning point where I started to look forward to my practice and could see it's effects rippling out into the rest of my body, mind and life.
Ice baths followed, and the wonderful breathing practice too of course, and I found myself firmly on a path of healing and exploration of my own potential and so-called limits. The power of this method can't be overstated, it's a fresh pair of eyes on the challenges we all face as humans in this weird and often messy world.
Grateful for the new path granted to me by this method, and beyond inspired by so many I have practiced with who have been lit up with improved mental health, freedom from physical ailments, more energy, less sickness, I moved forward in my journey and trained as an instructor.
