I have been practicing the Wim Hof Method (WHM) for many years and became an instructor in 2017. I have been fortunate enough to have trained extensively with Wim himself and to have assisted Wim at many events including a winter expedition in Poland.

My main focus with the WHM is on health. This interest stems from my own journey with the WHM in dealing with a chronic autoimmune condition (arthritis) and managing my mental wellbeing.

I have suffered from arthritis for over 30 years. During that time, I have also worked in a stressful corporate environment.

My arthritis has caused significant damage to my body. Over the years I have taken a cocktail of drugs to manage this illness but found they had nasty side effects and worked by suppressing my immune system. This made me constantly sick, particularly in winter. Working very long hours at high stress levels made my condition worse. The turning point for me was when I started to focus on my body's alkalinity. This journey lead me to the WHM.

I have been practicing the WHM for many years and this has helped me manage my inflammation and stress levels. I have also stopped getting sick. 

I am very keen to share the WHM with people in a similar position to me. There is simply no easier way to deal with stress and chronic illness than the WHM!
