The Winter Expedition can have up to 400 participants dipping in and out of ice baths at a time. To help manage this, the collective is divided into groups, each led by a pair of seasoned Wim Hof Method Instructors.
Wim leads the main activities, while the rest you conduct with your group— comprising about 20-30 members. Your instructors will teach you the Wim Hof Method breathing techniques, help you channel the trepidation you will no doubt feel at your first encounter with the icy brooks, and answer any questions that arise over the course of the week.
As much as you will experience individual breakthroughs, this is also very much a collective journey. The cold and breathing bring you together, and you’ll find yourself growing close bonds with people from the farthest corners of the world. Each year people leave having forged friendships that last them a lifetime.
